Waking up on Sunday morning was always a treat. Nonna already had the fresh tomatoes on slowly cooking them down into sauce. The enitre house smelled of garlic and basil. As the day went on we would sneak into the kitchen to get a taste of the magic she created in that pot.
Today, 2 Tomato prides itself by carrying on Nonna's tradition. Nino still gets up and goes into the restaurant every morning to start his magic, and just like years ago, the whole place slowly takes on the aroma of the fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil.
Nino uses only the best ingredients in all of his food. From the homemade batter for the smelts to the handrolled meatballs. With the perfect ingredients and the perfect recipe, it's no wonder you feel like you are actually in Italy!
